Courier and Logistics Operations Executive

  • Responsible for coordinating courier and logistics for customers.
  • Deal directly with customers, carriers and different departments within the company.
  • Manage operations effectively and efficiently and to consistently ensure that customers are satisfied.
  • Any task related to this position as requested from time to time.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that all services are delivered according to customers standards, customers’ specifications and KPIs;
  • Drive, monitor, enhance, and Develop business
  • Analyzes customer requests and proposes appropriate solutions.
  • Ensures that operations requested by the customer comply with transportation standards
  • Coordinates the customer’s credit analysis with the Accounting Department.
  • Conducts necessary research with carriers (all modes) in order to respond adequately to customer requests and, if necessary, seeks assistance from his team leader.
  • Selects carriers and vendors according to customers’ needs and specified criteria.
  • Prepares proposals for customers based on all their specifications, validates terms and obtains necessary approvals.
  • Follows procedures established by the department.
  • Validates method of payment with the customer.
  • Coordinates logistics/operations in accordance with Incoterms.
  • Handles pick-ups and deliveries according to customers’ SOP requirements and conducts audits of internal procedures;
  • Manages daily priorities related to the logistics and operations of his customers’ cargo, and ensures all required documents are completed with precision.
  • Processes required shipping documents with a high degree of accuracy. Tracks and traces the customer’s cargo and keeps him informed in real-time of the status of his shipment.
  • Suggests solutions when operations problems arise.
  • Complies with the SOP (customer’s operating procedures).
  • Offers the best solutions to customers and acts in a way that ensures their loyalty;
  • Liaises with the different parties. Proactively identifies potential problems and ensures the situations are resolved as quickly as possible, keeping the customer informed and supporting him in finding solutions.
  • Participates in meetings required by the employer;
  • Maintains good relations with colleagues and positively contributes to the work climate
  • Collects and shares relevant information about customers, work tools, forms and data with all internal parties.
  • Ensures SOPs are always up to date and informs your direct report concerned of any changes in the SOPs.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Education/Training:

  • Candidate must possess at least SPM/STPM/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

What you will need to succeed:

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in operations logistic / courier service or experience in managing international parcels (such as China) will be an advantage.
  • Able to write and speak in Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Strong communication skills with third parties such as suppliers, vendors and customers
  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities, ability to work under pressure and positive working attitude.
  • Able to work in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur

Sales and Marketing Executive

  • Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Sales - Corporate or equivalent.

Job Description:

  • To be responsible for meeting sales revenue objectives at a sales territory or portfolio level via retention, development and acquisition activities, by servicing and retaining existing customers and targeting new business opportunities.
  • Sales Strategies & Business development:
  • Carry out market survey on customer feedback.
  • Plan, develop and implement sales strategy
  • Managing P&L, budgeting and responsible to maximize sales growth and profit capability.
  • Manage a portfolio of customers and potential customers via personal sales visits, using face to face contact to provide a ‘personal service
  • Drive and develop business opportunity and identify new market opportunity
  • Conversion of qualified leads into customers (First Time Buyers) and develops and penetrates existing accounts (Retention and Development)
  • Lead sales initiatives to drive company revenue growth
  • Achieve business sales target to meet KPI
  • Analyses cost and cost structure and derives improvement measurement and actions
  • To review sales, account progress and costing and prepare weekly and monthly management report.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure cross-functional collaboration, ensuring high quality of service is delivered
  • Customer Management:
    • Develop and manage strong customer relationship from end to end to ensure maximized satisfactory of delivery service to maintain loyalty, reducing attrition rate and minimizing opportunities for competitors to gain business.
    • Handle corporate clients’ enquiries, complaint and prepare regular corresponds
    • Organize promotional event to create commercial consciousness and rapport with customers

 

What you will need to succeed:

  • At least 2 to 5 years practice in sales and marketing logistic / courier service.
  • Strong communication, people management expertise and customer contacts.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities, work under pressure and positive working attitude.
  • Candidate who has worked in Logistic / Courier industry.
  • Having practice in handling air parcels from China.
  • Able to work in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur
